All our taxis are fitted with meters, an example is shown below.

Please make sure the meter is switched on at the point of getting into the taxi and is visible throughout the journey.

If there is no meter do NOT pay. Take the vehicle registration and ring our office.

Waiting time is charged at 20p a minute. This is NOT included on the meter reading. This is to be agreed with the driver.


Be Safe In Leeds

You can pay for your car by providing our driver with your Carneige Card (Leeds Met) or your Leeds University Card (University of Leeds) if you have no money or find yourself in any kind of difficulty. You will be asked to sign a docket and leave your student card with the driver. You can then retrieve your card from the students union and pay your fare with the union.

This service is only available during the hours of darkness when no public transport is available.
